The 'Simulated Fracture' rug is part of the 'Mending the Fragments' collection, which was launched in July 2024 at the 'Fresh Paint' fair.
The 'Mending the Fragments' collection deals with the disassembly, assembly, and mending of the ground anew, with the aim of healing the fragments into a new reality in the country.
The rug is designed in the pattern of concrete tiles that can be found in old houses across the country. The tiles, which were manufactured decades ago, naturally wear out and even crack. We see the crack, whether it exists or is mended, as an addition to the charm and uniqueness of the tiles and as a commemoration of the process they have undergone, not as a defect. Therefore, we choose to commemorate the crack in the rug.

Made with high quality yarn for a soft and durable touch.
