Our Expertise Our expertise was built in the studio, through our hands, and is based on our background in graphic design. We approach every rug as a visual composition—focusing on geometric forms, bold color palettes, and meticulous execution. For us, professionalism is the combination of a genuine passion for materials and a deep understanding of shape and composition; from the precise selection of yarns to the final finish that gives each rug its polished, graphic look.

Maria
Graphic Designer (B.Des) & Textile Artist
Maria grew up in a home where art was a daily language, naturally leading her to pursue a degree in Visual Communication at WIZO Haifa. Throughout her professional journey, even within the digital design world, she found herself constantly drawn back to physical materials and handcrafted work. Her natural curiosity and drive to master new techniques—ranging from carpentry and sewing to the art of tufting—are what give YARNATAK its technical precision and the passion to push the boundaries of material and form in every project.
Geaya
Craft Artist & Psychology Graduate (B.A.)
The connection between the spiritual and the material has always been part of Gaia’s life, growing up with a multidisciplinary artist as a father and a mother practicing medical massage. After completing her degree in Psychology at the University of Haifa, she realized her true calling lay in tangible creation and working with her hands. In the studio, she bridges her deep understanding of human experience with an uncompromising love for craftsmanship, believing that physical creation is the most powerful way to foster genuine connection between people and their surroundings.
