About Us
Yarnatak is a story of connection. A story of two creators, Maria Feigin and Geaya Blory, who met a decade ago, became partners in life and in work, and together established an artistic textile studio with the goal of giving textile a renewed meaning. Each of them brings a unique world of content that merges into a cohesive creation: Maria, a graduate of visual communication, provides the tools for design and aesthetics, while Geaya, a graduate of psychology, provides the conceptual and narrative depth. This partnership is not limited to a division of roles but is an ongoing dialogue that enriches every project, making it greater than the sum of its parts.
We operate along two primary tracks that nourish one another:
-
Conceptual and Artistic Works: Original pieces created from in-depth research of color, form, and idea, which tell stories through material.
-
Custom Projects: We work closely with designers and clients, adapting our artistic approach to specific needs. Whether it's an adaptation of an existing design or creating a rug inspired by a logo or visual language, we insist on precise visual development, with an emphasis on aesthetics and quality.
In both tracks, we place great importance on meticulousness, professionalism, and precision at the highest level. For us, a rug is not just an object but an investment in art and design. We believe that textile is an art form in its own right, and every one of our creations is meant to place it in the center of the art world, where it belongs. Groundbreaking projects, like our piece at Jerusalem Design Week, are a living testament to the fact that the connection between conceptual depth and precise technique creates moments of magic.
